To our knowledge, our falafel mix does not contain any allergens.
Preparation
Packet contents yields about 15 falafels:
- Thoroughly mix packet contents with 200 ml of boiling water. Let sit for 15 minutes.
- Stir again lightly and, with wet hands, form the batter into teaspoon-sized balls.
- Frying pan: Cover a frying pan liberally with oil. Heat. Fry the falafels over medium heat until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Remove falafels from pan and blot lightly with a paper towel. Let sit for 3 minutes before serving.
- Deep fryer: Heat oil to about 160°C. Deep fry the falafels until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Remove the falafels from the deep fryer and lightly blot with a paper towel. Let sit for 3 minutes before serving.
